Job 25

Job Chapter 25 ESV

1Bildad asserteth the sovereignty of God, before whom man cannot be justified.
1 Then 1Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:
2 “Dominion and fear are with God;a he makes peace in his high heaven.
3 Is there any number to his 1armies? Upon whom does his 2light not arise?
4 How then can man be 1in the right before God? How can he who is 2born of woman be 3pure?
5 Behold, even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure in his eyes;
6 1how much less man, who is 2a maggot, and 3the son of man, who is a worm!”
