Job Chapter 27 ESV

Job protesteth his sincerity, and resolution to assert his innocence to the last, 8seeing that the hypocrite is without hope: 11he admitteth that even the blessings which the wicked possess are sometimes turned into curses.
And Job again 1took up his discourse, and said:
“As God lives, who has 1taken away my right, and the Almighty, who has 2made my soul bitter,
as long as my breath is in me, and 1the spirit of God is in my nostrils,
my lips will not speak 1falsehood, and my tongue will not utter 2deceit.
Far be it from me to say that you are right; till I die I will not put away my 1integrity from me.
I 1hold fast my righteousness and will not let it go; my heart does not 2reproach me for any of my days.
“Let my enemy be as the wicked, and let him who rises up against me be as the unrighteous.
1For what is the hope of the godless 2when God cuts him off, when God takes away his life?
1Will God hear his cry when distress comes upon him?
Will he 1take delight in the Almighty? Will he call upon God at all times?
I will teach you concerning the hand of God; 1what is with the Almighty I will not conceal.
Behold, all of you have seen it yourselves; why then have you become altogether vain?
1“This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage that 2oppressors receive from the Almighty:
If his 1children are multiplied, it is for 2the sword, and his descendants have not enough bread.
Those who survive him the pestilence buries, and his 1widows do not weep.
Though he 1heap up silver like dust, and pile up clothing like clay,
he may pile it up, but the righteous will wear it, and 1the innocent will divide the silver.
He builds his 1house like a moth's, like 2a booth that 3a watchman makes.
He goes to bed rich, but will 1do so no more; he opens his eyes, and 2his wealth is gone.
1Terrors overtake him like 2a flood; in the night a whirlwind 3carries him off.
1The east wind lifts him up and he is gone; it 2sweeps him out of his place.
Ita hurls at him 1without pity; he flees from itsb power in headlong flight.
It 1claps its hands at him and 2hisses at him from its place.
