Psalms 125

Psalm 125 ESV

1The safety of such as trust in God. 4A prayer for the godly, and against the wicked.
A Song of 1Ascents.
1 Those who 1trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which 2cannot be moved, but abides forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so 1the Lord surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore.
3 For 1the scepter of wickedness shall not 2rest on 3the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous 4stretch out their hands to do wrong.
4 1Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, and to those who are 2upright in their hearts!
5 But those who 1turn aside to their 2crooked ways the Lord will lead away with 3evildoers! 4Peace be upon Israel!
