Psalms 54

Psalm 54 KJV

1David complaining of the Ziphims prayeth for salvation: 4in confidence of God's help he promiseth sacrifice and praise.
To the chief Musician on 1Neginoth, Maschil, A Psalm of David, 2when the Ziphims came and said to Saul, Doth not David hide himself with us?
1 Save me, 1O God, by 2thy name, and judge me 3by thy strength.
2 1Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For 1strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
4 Behold, 1God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
5 He 1shall reward evil unto amine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
6 1I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O Lord; for it is good.
7 For he 1hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath 2seen his desire upon mine enemies.
