Psalms 87

Psalm 87 ESV

1The seat and glory of the church: 4the honourable distinction of its members.
A Psalm of 1the Sons of Korah. A Song.
1 On 1the holy mount 2stands the city he founded;
2 the Lord 1loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob.
3 1Glorious things of you are spoken, O 2city of God. Selah
4 Among those who 1know me I mention 2Rahab and Babylon; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with 3Cusha— “This one was born there,” they say.
5 And of Zion it shall be said, “This one and that one were born in her”; for the Most High himself will 1establish her.
6 The Lord records as he 1registers the peoples, “This one was born there.” Selah
7 1Singers and 2dancers alike say, “All my 3springs are in you.”
