Psalms 98

Psalm 98 ESV

1The Psalmist celebrateth God's salvation toward Israel: 4he exciteth the whole world to join in acclamations of praise, because of God's righteous judgment.
A Psalm.
1 Oh sing to the Lord 1a new song, for he has done 2marvelous things! His 3right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.
2 The Lord has 1made known his salvation; he has 2revealed his righteousness in 3the sight of the nations.
3 He has 1remembered his 2steadfast love and faithfulness to the house of Israel. All 3the ends of the earth have seen 4the salvation of our God.
4 1Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; 2break forth into joyous song and sing praises!
5 Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the 1sound of melody!
6 With 1trumpets and the sound of 2the horn 3make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!
7 1Let the sea roar, and 2all that fills it; 3the world and those who dwell in it!
8 Let the rivers 1clap their hands; let 2the hills sing for joy together
9 before the Lord, for he comes to 1judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.
