Psalms 130

Psalm 130 ESV

1The Psalmist in distress prayeth to God, trusting in his mercy for pardon: 5his own patience in hope: 7he exhorteth Israel to hope in God.
A Song of 1Ascents.
1 Out of 1the depths I cry to you, O Lord!
2 O Lord, hear my voice! 1Let your ears be attentive to 2the voice of my pleas for mercy!
3 If you, O Lord, should 1mark iniquities, O Lord, who could 2stand?
4 But with you there is 1forgiveness, 2that you may be feared.
5 I 1wait for the Lord, 2my soul waits, and 3in his word I hope;
6 my soul 1waits for the Lord more than 2watchmen for 3the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.
7 O Israel, 1hope in the Lord! For 2with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption.
8 And he will 1redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
