Psalm 29 ESV

1David exhorteth princes to give glory to God, 3by reason of his power, 11and protection of his people.
A Psalm of David.
1 Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings,a 1ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in 1the splendor of holiness.a
3 The voice of the Lord is over 1the waters; the God of glory 2thunders, the Lord, over many waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is 1powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; the Lord breaks 1the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He makes Lebanon to 1skip like a calf, and 2Sirion like a young 3wild ox.
7 The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire.
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; the Lord shakes the wilderness of 1Kadesh.
9 The voice of the Lord makes 1the deer give birtha and strips the forests bare, and in his temple all cry, “Glory!”
10 The Lord sits enthroned over 1the flood; the Lord sits enthroned 2as king forever.
11 May the Lord give 1strength to his people! May the Lord blessa his people with 2peace!
